21 Mar West London Strategic Infrastructure Delivery Plan Published

The West London Strategic Infrastructure Delivery Plan sets out the strategic infrastructure the sub-region will need to support its sustainable growth into the 2040s. It focusses on infrastructure of cross-borough importance to delivering growth, particularly in opportunity areas or other places prioritised for development. The work, carried out for the WLA by Atkins and Cushman & Wakefield, covers transport, energy, water and flood risk, digital, green and social infrastructure. For each infrastructure type it explains what is already in place, what’s needed to support growth and to mitigate climate change and help progress to zero carbon, how much this might cost and who is responsible for delivery. It also considers potential funding options and makes recommendations about the future of strategic planning for West London.
