An opportunity is available for a person with experience of project co-ordination and delivery, and of data gathering, as Supported Employment Project Manager within the West London Alliance, a partnership of 7 West London local authorities.

The programme of work exists to develop and publicise the range of pre-employment vocational skills programmes across West London, focussing on well-established and highly-regarded supported internships, open to young people aged 17-24 with autism and/or moderate learning disabilities or difficulties.

This role provides an opportunity to developing skills and experience of working with the special education needs and disabilities (SEND) communities in West London, and various education and third-sector partners. A keen eye for detail is required, alongside an ability to identify and obtain data, and experience of co-ordinating and delivering initiatives within budget and timescale.

The role will also involve co-ordinating quarterly meetings of a Supported Employment Programme Board, working with colleagues to raise awareness within SEN schools of the pre-employment training opportunities for school-leavers, oversight and facilitation of a new Supported Internship graduate tracking process and the production of publicity materials including the 2023 West London Guide to Supported Internships.

A key objective of the role is to contribute to securing sustained employment for people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
