Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a brilliant Senior Digital Place Engagement Manager to join our fast growing WLA Digital Team. You will be engaging at the highest levels of government, industry and academia to develop new business models and investment opportunities for 5G use cases and fibre at scale and providing expertise to support the West London boroughs de-risk and accelerate their digital infrastructure deployment programmes.
This will include developing and managing a stakeholder engagement strategy and liaising with key stakeholders including central government, the GLA Group, London Councils, academia and businesses large and small in the West London ecosystem in the health, social care, construction, creative, mobility and aviation sectors to formulate project concepts, feasibility and investment cases.
You will be supporting boroughs to de-risk delivery of digital infrastructure through boroughwide wayleaves, market engagement exercises, open access agreements and project level support. This will deliver a step change in the pace of digital infrastructure delivery required to meet residents and businesses urgent needs and the objectives of the West London Build and Recover Plan and WLA Digital Team Business Plan.
