We are pleased to publish our study on Affordable Workspace in West London. Written by Avison Young and 00 and funded by MHCLG’s Planning Delivery Fund, this report provides a background evidence base for development of policies on provision of affordable workspace. It gives information about different types of workspace, operators, operating models and rental models and discusses ways of approaching “affordability” and the reasons for public sector intervention in the market, to support local economic growth both now and in the future. Finally, it sets out different approaches to help to overcome the delivery challenges and secure a new portfolio of affordable workspace within West London.
