Job description
The West London Alliance is a group of local authorities committed to a programme of collaboration and innovation to improve outcomes for West London. We deliver initiatives across the sub-region, working across borough boundaries and focussing on the priority areas of economy and skills, employment support, mobility and transport, housing, health and care, and digital.
The successful candidate will help develop and deliver the West London strategic housing & homelessness programmes, and West London’s One Public Estate programme, supporting West London boroughs in achieving a step change in the delivery of affordable housing and addressing the homelessness crisis.
The role requires a good knowledge of housing issues, outstanding relationship management and negotiation skills together with the ability to facilitate exceptional partnership working between west London boroughs and other partners locally, regionally and nationally – including developers, housing providers, the voluntary and community sector, funding bodies, the GLA and government departments.
This is a career role with excellent long-term prospects for the right candidate. The role is envisaged as a full-time post of 35 hours, with scope for flexibility or part-time.
