23 Mar Successful Healthier Homes Bid
The Commissioning Alliance has successfully won up to £330,000 (over three years) in funding from the NHS to deliver a project supporting vulnerable residents to resolve issues around poor housing conditions that affect occupants’ health and wellbeing, such as damp, mould, and excessive cold.
Damp and mould is a high priority issue in the housing sector. The Commissioning Alliance’s project bid was approved by the NHS as a “strong proposal, to look at the impact of housing on health.”
The project will be rolled out over the next couple of months, and we look forward to working closely with partners to support residents.
