WLA Health and Employment Networking Event24/02/2017
Over 200 people attended this event on Thursday 23rd February to help frontline staff find out more about the available provision to support people furthest from the labour market into training and employment.
A range of specialist providers shared the innovative work they are doing, for example with Care Leavers; Troubled Families; Adults with Learning Difficulties; and people suffereing with Mental Ill-health.
A range of speakers from across the Public Sector discussed how they are linking up services to help unemployed people.
Across the West London more than £50M of employment support is available, but it relies on multiple agencies identifying residents who could benefit - and knowing where to direct them.
The event also saw the launch of the WLA / LEAP Mental Health Trailblazer programme.
